thanks. I checked that link and the instruction for windows seems to be incomplete. I think I'll leave my node open to see if it could be found by other nodes - peer discovery Peer Discovery: A bootnode with high uptime and strong connectivity discovers Full Nodes as peer nodes through message discovery protocol.
Incomplete in what sense? What do you think is missing? So I can notify them and improve the guide.
Maybe I'm wrong but it's at the first step. Step 1: Retrieve your Node ID Macos & linux section shows a curl command to retrieve the Node ID in linux style. curl -X "POST" "http://localhost:8114/" \ -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \ -d $'{ "id": 2, "jsonrpc": "2.0", "method": "local_node_info", "params": [] }' Windows section just shows "If you have changed the default RPC address http://localhost:8114/ in your CKB node configuration, make sure to replace it in the commands above." I convert the command to windows promt style to execute it but eventually it says "Supplied content type is not allowed. Content-Type: application/json is required". Not sure if that's a server-side or an error from my side
Hello! Kindly move price/trading discussion to the @NervosNation community Thank you!
i am a bit surprised, 122 ,nodes seems not a lot
yeah that's why
The way to increase that number is to run a node indeed. I understand that not everyone in the community can or has the resources for it. But if you want to help the network without a doubt I recommend running one, here you have guides and if you have questions we can help. https://linktr.ee/nodeckb
