plan that goes beyond what we have done in the past? Specifically things like advertisements ie; billboards in NYC, transit system advertisements, actual paid advertisements all over the web. I think once we are situated well enough regarding bridges, defi, Dapps, it would be very strong for us to have a plan we are ready to deploy & execute without having to take more time to prepare. We need eyeballs, traffic into our website + twitter and ultimately ecosystem. @Peter_TLOS can you shine some light on this inquiry when you get the chance? Curious to hear overall community too.
Hey @ic_narek, it's a great question. Yes we are currently looking to revamp our entire strategy for external communication. I think a major part of Web3 marketing is being able to analyze what you are doing and the overall effectiveness of it. I think we have to be objective at this point as well that the market is not doing us any favours and we need to make the necessary adjustments to figure out a new angle to ensure that all the developments and upcoming milestones we have, isn't missing the mark. We're working an exciting new roadmap right now that will be coming from a product standpoint with a few new developments in the next couple of months. This will all be supported by a marketing strategy with a focus on paid/earned media to get that external traffic into our community. In terms of those advertisement mediums you mentioned such as large scale municipal ads, I believe they 'can' be effective during a bull market, I believe it may miss the mark during a down market when a lot of projects (particularly within the same scale as us) are minimizing things like physical ad spend. I have a lot of different providers I work with that could get us on a billboard in Times Square NYC, or Piccadilly London for about 50K for a 24H activation. IMO this is beyond what we are willing to spend for a single-use activation. But of course it doesn't mean that it's out of the picture either. We're constantly evaluating different options, and balancing it on a cost-value scale that takes into account the current timing as well. Like you mentioned though, I'm always open to feedback and suggestions and would love to hear what the community thinks we should be focusing on as well. I see a lot of different communities going through the same 'rut' as we are right now, and everyone of couse has their own opinion on what could/should be done to improve the situation. I'm happy to take them all.
50K actually isnt too bad for 24 hours in Time Square. This during some big crypto conference right when BTC is making big moves could be huge haha. Im eager to see those paid advertisements in places I wouldnt expect, but only when we are satisfied with how our ecosystem is running. Dont want masses going head first into 404 errors or dead ends lol.
HEY, who's getting 404'd and not telling me!
