I think Bywire has created a tonne of content and coverage for EOS. So while its true they didn't produce this series, I think the funds received certainly did go towards promoting EOS in other ways.

We still never got the full pilot episode that was promised in March even after they raised $80k in Pomelo You're right though, they probably wouldn't have raised as much if they didn't make the trailer. Unfortunately there hasn't been a whole lot of delivery beyond that
