Ok, i dont get the usecase. I imagined being in penny supermarket without cash, so i decide to buy a €2 gift card. Can pay in bch, great, but makes me wait for confirmation (2, i think) 😡. Now I'm stranded in a penny for an unknown amount of time with no bubble gum. Am i using this wrong?

Buy €100 gift cards. Tokenize it. Put on dex. Add support in wallets for payment in Penny (assuming that's a store) with BCH but via the instant payment of a token atomic swap and then using the cards details. Naturally there is the interface to Penny where things fail, but one can dream

Yeah, probably a pipe dream, but would be awesome. There have to be apps for managing and paying with various gift cards already. I wouldn't rule out the issuer offering apis. Penny gift cards can even be partially spent for example, so checking balance would be needed.
