think it's a proof that NOIA's going to be huge as it hints at signicant adoption already and %50-67 staking plus continious bonding by publishers, subscribers, brokers and observers are going to take out a significant portion of the supply, making it very deflationary and the community should rejoice over. How many NOIA tokens do each party in the Data Layer has to credit in the ecosystem was left out, I wonder if there's a specific reason for that( maybe that's part of an NDA with the parties and hence not announced as of now). Also, the community was wondering if the 1 billion total supply was ever going to be passed? Or how many NOIA tokens will each selected delegator and validator nodes lock in? Around 730 million circulating already, there will be many market buys by the Data Layer participants-unless there's a different mechanism involved- but also many rewards distributed to validators, delegators, brokes and observers and if we get close to the full supply, how will the rewards be paid at that point? Or is there a counterbalancing factor like a burn which I couldn't find in the whitepaper. Overall, I think it's a great whitepaper but some maths could be better clarified either now or closer to the launch of mainnet obviously. Grateful to everybody involved!
Thank you for your feedback! We’ve already had similar questions that were asked and currently waiting for the research teams response.
Great post. Look forward to main net to watch all these pieces of the puzzle come together.
Thanks! I'm convinced they will come together really fine 😄 as it implies consistent buying and locking of tokens by all participants of the Data Layer as opposed to buying once and locking them for once🔥😉. Plus, we still have the OBX in place and as soon as we can get more numbers, it will surely be fantastic..
