This is part of the burn mint, so burned token address is written as black hole too, when STRX is burned for TRX and reverse for example its sent to and from this address if you check the transactions you will see many being swapped there under smart contract

Yes using a smart contract and creating a locked address that acts as your burn address, it should work in the same way when people need to swap between tokens in this way 👍
