be nice to know what it would take to have them accept BCH 0-conf.
Thinking about it, there would literally be zero risk for them to accept 0 conf. Even if someone somehow successfully double spent they could just take away any alotted time.

A DSP doesn't tell you which transaction will be mined by which miner...
...also... It's not like there is 100% chance of your transaction propagating even with 3-second delay. With every passing second since second 1, the chance of success is decreasing rapidly. After 5 seconds, it's approaching zero. Peter Rizun did some testing on this. Too bad he is not around any more.
There is also Zero Confirmation Escrows, which reduce any kind of non-miner-assisted double spend risk to zero, even with 0 seconds. But this is not yet implemented and a story for another time...
A DSP only means another transaction broadcast attempt occurred, how do you know which transaction propagated before it confirms?

OK, that doesn't counter mine which is that a business shipping goods can decide whether or not to ship based on immutable data in the blockchain, so a DSP isn't of value to them anyway. A DSP tells the 0-conf reliant businesses that it's time to wait for a conf.
It is also trivial to automatically repay the previous payment in case it does confirm+reach the business. Much easier than to return a traditional VISA/Bank payment. It will arrive in 1-2 hours max, not days as it works with VISA which takes up to days.
