"To which projects would you compare NOIA as of now to have a somewhat similar use case? Graph, substreams.io, centralized ones Alchemy, Moralis, etc, everyone in the blockchain data space can be seen as providing the same use cases. We are unique in our ways of low latency real time data stream which indexers don't do and we're not an indexing API, even our historical data will be in a different format, so we have a unique implementation to deliver fast and in a convenient way. But use cases are scaling blockchain data for all apps and dApps which need to get price feeds, history, analysis, real time events, security etc of blockchains." This is an answer from our Roadmap AMA recap, about similar project such as the Graph

Is the approach to replace indexing? As in, is indexing somehow not necessary, or taken care of through a different means, with Syntropy's approach?

We are not trying to replace indexing, because it is crucial part in historical data streaming. We are focusing on improving real time data stream functionality by decentralizing it and by employing our already patented DARP technology

Indexing is crucial. Got that. Thanks. Does Syntropy's solution do indexing? Or will it interface with other solutions that do indexing?

Yes we will do our indexing. The Data Layer will have Historical and Real-Time on-chain data streams.

Thank you. Where - what section(s) - in the whitepaper do you describe HOW you will do indexing? And querying? I don't see it described but maybe I'm missing it because you don't use the language of "indexing" and "querying".

Really? I've read that a few times and don't see any description of HOW indexing is done. Is the answer (the inner workings of) the Pub-Sub protocol? The Graph says "indexing blockchain data is really, really hard" - I'm guessing Syntropy would agree. They go on to describe why, and indeed how, The Graph works. See here: https://thegraph.com/docs/en/about/ Does Syntropy have any comparable description? For example, whereas The Graph "learns what and how to index Ethereum data based on subgraph descriptions," how does Syntropy learn what and how to index such data?

The Publisher - Subscriber protocol is the backbone of the data streaming. As of now, the whitepaper is the most in depth paper describing the Data Layer. However, I am sure that more deliverables in Q4 will show a bigger picture of the inner works of Data Layer.

yeah, we don’t index data, publishers can index and sell their data as real-time instant data streams, they index data because its historical data which is queried form the database so to be fast needs to be indexed, we deliver and scale messages from one or many publishers to millions of devices from mobile to web browser directly or applications as fast as possible, the data goes straight without indexing thats why is blocks ahead compared to any indexer, so if you have a trusted data publisher you can have lowest possible latency information delivered from the chain straight to application without it getting indexed and queried
