i think the ledger is still public so anyone can still spy on you even if you try to obfuscate the transactions
well its not perfect but it should offer some actual privacy.
Nobody will spy on you if you do not write your name under every transaction. Even public ledger without fusion is pseudonymous for as long as your real name is not linked to any transaction. With mixing it gets even better.
So, it's not perfect, but if you take 1 extra step to separate your hidden identity from your real identity (by having "hidden wallet" and "public wallet" for example), it becomes perfect and untraceable, like Monero.
well this is more true on BCH than BTC since low fees allow doing it for cheaper
