for jpp / bip70 it's the opposite. The server transparently handles the users (wallets) choice

This is what I mean by "the user is choosing the wallet". In an ideal world this shouldn't be needed though...

Notice that after you select a wallet from that list, the actual wallet you run is still the one that picks between bip70 and jpp.
