read this since mods may ban me but consider this as an honest scream if you are reading.

I am an old Kadena miner who no longer mines or holds Kadena but hopes for the best for Kadena. I exited because the project has no leader anymore and embittered its community, as the community was too patient but the project disappointed the community.

First of all, I did not like logo change at all. I think, as you have just been hired, you just wanted to show that you're taking a concrete step, and of course this would not start without changing the logo which is visible to everyone. Then, you just came up with the story green is that, X symbolizes Y. This is being used for banks' brand marketing. Kadena cannot be associated with centralization. I don't think the logo was the biggest issue of Kadena and I don't know where you heard logo not being the fit for the project. As I recall, we went up to $28 with the same logo. But let me tell you what I heard about the logo change. You have just strengthened Kaspa moonboys' hands as they now think that Kadena is copying Kaspa. Since you like asking why as the first step, let me ask you: Why have you not asked community votes for the change?

Kadena was very good alternative to existing Layer 1s at the time but failed to innovate itself. Therefore, lost its share of investment in Layer 1s rightfully. Being delisted on Binance US just fastened the process. But people from the old community knew all along, this was going to happen in the long run if the team kept behaving like that. You expected a different result, while doing the same thing all alone. Take a look at what happened with Nervos. They are good but no marketing. Now, there are so many competitors with faster blockchain. So when you had no competitors and you still failed, how are you going to compete with ones that are better than Kadena right now? I don't think they'll switch to Kadena because of its new logo.

The main persisting issues:

1- You cant properly even use a wallet to send Kadena. Putting extensions aside, you are supposed to wait 3 to 5 minutes for cross chain transfers on Zelcore while you cannot even close the software. Like why? Rather prevent cross chain transfers to shut down people who uses this to fud Kadena. But yeah, then how can you sell 20 chains...

2- Projects on Kadena makes me cringe. I cant believe Kadena still has no proper Dapps but you have thousand NFTs with bananas.

3- No one has time to learn or develop on PACT at this stage. So stop selling KDAs for grant programs and develop yourselves. When there's demand, they'll learn PACT themselves to develop projects. You can pump the coin with extra investments by buying the coin, instead of selling $100 Million worth of KDAs, just to support banana NFT projects.

4- Stop retweeting about Stuart Haber being the most cited author in Nakamoto's whitepaper already. You cannot sell this anymore, especially when best thing you offer is banana NFTs.

5- We all know what happened to wallets without K: at the time. Stop tweeting about how secure it is until proving it with real case.

6- Come up with a strategy to acquire new investors and community members.

7- Bring staking to keep investors retained.

8- Keep miners happy and stop neglecting them. They are your backbones. They'll hodl, if they still believe in the project and the idea.

9- Stop making one hour long AMAs. No one has the patient to watch them for so long while the whole thing can be summarized into 10 sentences.

10- Stop naming AMAs as campfires. Campfire was associated with the pink logo you did not like.

11- Make transactions faster if you cannot build anything on Kadena. At least, you can market this until then.

12- Change your roadmap. Excite people.

Although I am not as vampire marketer as you boast yourself, I am also a marketer and I guess we can agree on couple of points I am making.

There's no 'native' staking as such as Kadena is Proof of Work (PoW) and not Proof of Stake (PoS). Bond / Stake / Provide Liquidity to one of the dApps within the Kadena ecosystem (see @kadena_defi).

I say: kaspa moonboys are idiots if think that, because they copyed the K from kadena before. And lot of criptos have the color green before kaspa. Have to be a big idiot to think that kadena is copyed kaspa just for the color green........ And binance US didnt deslisted kda. Binance US deslisted ALL the pairs with busd, and thats it.

I appreciate that you felt compelled to type out your thoughts. I am crazy busy but since you took the time, I will do my best to reply back to you. I am done answering the logo and color comments/questions. The stand alone K logo mark isn't final, nor did we ask anyone to update that outside our small group. I can write 10 pages on why not "Pink" and why "Green" but I have already before. When people question these things like this, and say the old K logo hit a token price of $28 I know they are 100% not marketers, no matter how many times they say they are. If you think all we're doing is changing the logo you're clearly not paying attention. My agenda for every day is laid out in full transparency on Twitter, we are working on countless things. I don't care about Kaspa, I don't know Kaspa, I could give 2 shits about what anyone at Kaspa thinks about me or Kadena. I didn't know they existed until someone called out we both we're using green literally last week. I know nothing about them but like anyone else in this space, I wish them the best of luck. 1. Try another wallet? IDK 2. Tons of Dapps and many more coming 3. As soon as you said "pump the coin" I stopped reading 4. The are launching a project on Mv2, we are not "selling" this or anything like it. 5. I'm not even sure what this means. 6. I spend 14 hours a day working on this. Need time 7. This doesn't work the way you think it does, but we're working on a number of projects that will accomplish this. 8. How are we neglecting them? 9. We generate long form versions of these and short form versions that are easily digestible. This way you can consume whatever you'd like. Changes to these are coming regardless. 10. Campfire was originally wanted by the community because we weren't communicating with them frequently. That changed, so the format pivoted a bit as well. More things coming with this as well. Most are very boring, but my opinion doesn't matter. People seem to have liked them in the past. 11. Huh? You should look at how our technology works. 12. That is what we've been doing. I am not sure what a vampire marketer is nor am I sure I've "boasted" it. Do I think I am a good marketer, I do. Do I know everything, no chance. I do know when people on the internet tell me that they are a marketer that they are indeed NOT just by the questions they ask. I've always said I don't know it all and we're going to try a bunch of things, some of which might not work. Real marketers will understand that opinions don't determine success, data does. I appreciate your feedback here even if I don't understand some of it. There are some things here I agree with and we're working on. I think if you stick around for a little bit you will see there are a lot of changes coming. Will they work? IDK. If they don't work, will we give up? Nope. Will be keep fighting and try to figure out what moves the needle? Of course. Will the opinion of strangers on the internet change my view on how I view marketing theory and implementation. Zero chance.

Campfire makes Kadena stands out from other projects. It shows how transparent your team is and how consistent you are. Keep it up! You are doing great job! People who hate campfire is more likely a sabotage on kadena project as campfire is one of the best thing you guys are doing for the community. All the best man.
