I heard and read that Coinbase, the top 25 and

the 0% are not recommend for staking with because they are skipped for airdrops. Is there any reason or benefit for anyone to stake with them?

Yes, Exchange validators are generally excluded from being eligible for airdrops. Choosing validators outside the top 25(top 10) is necessary to keep decentralization safe. There are many tips to learn how to choose a validator. You can find them via https://joinatom.zone/ (FAQ section)
