Will the databases be on the Cosmos blockchain? Also, will

it be possible to share information selectively, or once data is transmitted, will it automatically become public for everyone?

Not 100% about the placement of the database since I’m not that tech-savvy myself. I reckon that would be the case since Data Layer will be based on Cosmos. As for the selective data, it’s really a personal preference of the user/company that will be using Data Layer. You should be able to choose an area of interest in terms of data instead of receiving packages that you have no interest in. Also not sure about the data being public, but accessible to the one who requested it (in the hands of the owner to make it public).
