I'd be interested in a source for this.

Actually, the "USA foundry" pool hash 27%, but they require KYC and deal with US customers, which means they are regulated under US laws But there is no proof that all the miners there are from the USA of course. Mining can be done anonymously

Also BlackRock invested billions into mining and some biggest miners (which I assume is "Foundry USA") is running on credit/investment from BlackRock. They are also mining at a loss. Obviously we can already suspect what that may mean
