do you think it is because of the minting without broad community knowledge, or lack of arms length management of ENF, ENV and Labs?
A part of me wish everything would be transparent but I don't think it's realistic. We have seen how eden and other transparent community initiatives take time to make decisions and build. Most are focused on their ego and wanting more power and apend time writing words instead of doing actual things of value. ENF could not operate as fast and have done as much good in such short time if it didn't operate as it does.
Your first suggestion was to write fluff pieces to help EOS which is the opposite of transparency. Is ENF driving value?
ENF is definitely driving value. Without it EOS would be in a much worse situation.
Number 70 and falling....how can you make such claims? Would EOS be in a worse position it had a VC and B1 still in the picture? Perhaps it would be better off.
the coinmarketcap position has nothing to do with the value ENF brings. Tech fundamentals and price are not correlated. Meme coins can moon while EOS who has great fundamentals is still down. Market makers control the price. Not ENF or retail. The only thing we can do, is build and improve usability and increase the size of the community and number of holders and in time, price will rise. Dont focus on the price for now, just focus on doing good 🤓
To me it feels like you're given up hope on humanity. So stay in the status-quo, false-peace. People fail all the time. But the failure is necessary until it finally succeesses.
Community definitely needs ENF. But it has to properly align with the real community, instead of a few people that community doesn't even aware of. You'll get to learn more about it with my following articles.
I have not given up hope on humanity. I trust the humans behind ENF and their plans to make EOS a success long term. The ENF isnt perfect, but they are for sure doing their best.
Their best for whom is the question? I'm not sold that everything done is in the best interest of the global EOS community and token holder. I don't think I'm alone with that thinking...right or wrong, its still a line of thinking that exists, and for a number of legitimate reasons.
It's doing everything else besides the most important thing that can impact the whole atmosphere of the blockchain: changing the narrative of being captured by the cartel.
Great to hear that you didn't gave up hope on humanity. :) I think you will see what I'm talking about as you continue following my article. I trust humans behind ENF. @brandonlovejoy @BlockchainZack @Nana3357 for their love and dedication for EOS. Their effort shouldn't be betrayed by the structural secrecy of ENF that is not even shared with them.
Everyone thinks there is "one most important thing", and that is the tricky bit. I enjoyed your article. Your writing is compelling, and I look forward to whatever else is coming. All perspectives are welcome, these are all extremely complex issues, but no one perspective is THE perspective, and no one narrative is the most important narrative.
Basic first aid. ABCs. Airway, breathing, circulation. See to those first. If you neglect the fact that the patient can't breathe while you are concerned about their vertebrae, they will die. Not that we can't move on multiple things at the same time, as my analogy above hopefully illustrates.
The narrative of "cartel" and "Corruption" needs to stop. Any token holder that wish EOS success should stop using these words with negative connotation. EOS uses DPOS and the current token holders appointed ENF and EOS Labs to lead initiatives. Yes, the current token holders have somewhat "captured the chain", again, wording with negative connotation. But thats the same with all the projects. Those who believe in the project buy tokens and control its power. Thats by design. Those who dont like it can buy more tokens and have more control. At least its not just 1 entity controlling everything and the token holders can held ENF accountable. Lets remind ourselves that ALL OTHER BLOCKCHAINS are more centralised and 99% of them are controlled by 1 entity and we dont talk about corruption or cartels in those. EOS is decentralised compared to the rest. We are doing good in that aspect already relatively speaking where Solana and many others are very bad. Although other chains are centralised, it didn't remove their ability to get traction and increase in price. VCs invest in them knowing its fully centralised.
I really tried not use these word for whole 6 years. But it is what it is unfortunately. Unfortunately Truth is inevidantly painful is what I
what if the entity controlling the votes doesn't actually own the tokens they vote with? Is that by design? Also I fully agree, the "cartel" and "corruption" does need to stop 👍🏼
you mean like a proxy?
If it is problem shared by all the other projects, it means that EOS has an opportunity to be the ONLY ONE UNIQUE CHAIN that didn't betrayed the ethos of blockchain.
Read Hahn's article, and the titles of what is coming. That's what I'm referring to.
As you gain more in-depth information, you'll see what I'm talking about.
How can we end the vote buy broker scheme if we don't first identify it is happening, name it and call for change? This is the path to healing EOS and restoring trust. It might hurt a bit in the short term but falling market cap is painful too.
You assume we haven't already identified all the current issues with EOS since years ago and are methodically dealing with them.
EOS is ALREADY unique in this regard. it is far less centralized than the others. and the BP landscape will change over time as more use cases come into existence, causing people to stop proxying to exchanges. what is wrong with that?
Years of identifying a problem and not soling it is a problem isn't it?
Yes indeed EOS is already special as it's far less centralized than others. But I'm not sure how you're familiar with EOS voting landscape. Who owns how much who's casting votes, etc. As you get to learn more about that, you'll see what I'm talking about. It's just I'm having more information as a BP who've been deep in that game now releasing all these information to the public.
Don't think many appreciate nor realize this... For years people moaned at how B1 sat on their hands and did nothing of building... Community begged to be rid of them and have someone who actually gets shit done at the helm... But alas, the "ENF Took Over" PA meme rues on in people's hearts? Strange bunch 🙃
