yes and the pool on an amm is more efficient as well, if you were to do the same big swap on an orderbook there might be a big difference between the bid and the ask, where as with the pool the liquidity is more concentrated

hm, i’m not sure if this has been explored but aren’t order book style cashtoken dex’s possible using introspection? so send bch or tokens to a covenant contract with buy/sell price embedded so it only succeeds if it matches. cancellable at any time by the initiator
sort of related, wonder if covenants can be used with cauldron to make sure an outcome meets expectations (like only buy or sell if price is between x and y price points) so you can just deposit to an address and be sure you’ll get a certain price or it won’t go through
