wallet to my ledger Wallet.
But it’s asking me for a 12 digit address and ledger is providing me with a 64bit address.
How can I do this transaction?
I’m not a user of Ledger and Native myself, there is some users here that use it. Will dig but in the meantime ignore any calls and DMs.
Okay will do, thank you
You could use wallet.telos.net and send TLOS to your evm wallet on ledger
The thing about using ledger with telos zero (native) is there is no support on ledger live. Also it's a little complex to set up since you have to move your tzero account onto the ledger key. Having said you can do it - and it works well once set up - your pretty tied to anchor and it's at least better security
Okay thank you, I haven’t used this before. If the telos is currently stored on Anchor, how can I access it using wallet.telos.net?
I’m a little bit confused about this part. What’s the difference between telos zero tokens and telos evm tokens? Also, are what do you mean when you say that there is no support on ledger live? & what do you mean when you say I’m tied to anchor?
Just use thr Telos zero tab to switch performs and login with anchor
Just telos zero is our native plaform with c++ contracts. It has a different resource model, wallets and features. TelosEVM is basically Ethereum on steroids. Uses ethereum wallets, uses a gas model instead of staking. TLOS is used on both
So if I own either coin it’s the same? I mean, is there any advantage of holding the native coin over the EVM coin?
Yeah- mostly the same- on evm you have the advantage of liquid staking where you earn an Apr but also can use your stlos in defi- on zero you can use staked tlos to vote in governance though
Different apps on each platform too
Okay thank you. But storing either token gives me the same level of ownership? I mean… if I own the EVM tokens they’re not pegged somewhere against something? Maybe is completely incorrect what I am saying but just wanted to make sure 😅
Yeah you own them either way
Okay perfect. Thank you 😁
