we incentivize users/dapp developers to build zk apps on Telos vs zkSync, Starknet, Scroll and Polygon Hermez?
That’s a really good question, I’ll let others answer
In terms of technical incentive, it’s much more easy & cost effective to generate and verify zero knowledge proofs on Telos compared to other networks. As for incentives to deploy I think programs like Telos Spark will play an important role with hackathons and initiatives to onboard developers
Good question. Polygon having a world class BD team and still only getting 15k daily tx on Polygon zkEVM is a bit unsettling to me
Yeah i think these are all very valid questions, i don’t think we know why Polygon zkEVM isn’t doing well. But the primary issue is generating & verifying ZK proofs on Polygon or any other EVM network that is a copy pasta of GETH code means they inherit the underlying restrictions of ETH, so maybe many aren’t building on it because it’s not efficient enough. So with the scalability that Telos offers, many possibilities for execution open up, that may not be possible elsewhere. Also, another point is ZK tech is fairly new and still undergoing a lot of development or improvements, maybe it’s not yet at the stage where it can be effectively used?
