have some performance issues with large wallets?
no, it won't have such issues.
Do you have any insight as to what the issue is with EC?
there are 3 main issues in EC why big wallets are too slow there; - they don't have a good fast datamodel to back the UI, making the UI sluggish as a result. - they don't use the 'change' chain (derivation path) as optimal as they could and as a result keep monitoring addresses that are no longer expected to every have any activity. - The design of the client is around the electrum-x protocol which requires registration of each "address" to monitor and that scales very poorly when compared to the bloom-filter approach.
Hell yea. Thank you very much for the info.
Stack desktop wallet has some powerful features like coin control and fusion
That third point is pretty interesting. Address subscription works really well for single addresses but doesn't sit right with me when dealing with potentially hundreds or thousands. I wonder if that's an option for a future Fulcrum upgrade
