Hello I just updated my owner keys to use a

Leger hardware wallet but when I login with the Ledger (using Anchor Desktop) and try to send tokens using the web wallet it won't send as it wants to use authorization with active keys. Is this normal? I thought logging in with the owner keys should allow sending TLOS.

Yes it looks like the telos webwallet this is the case that it defaults to the "active" key when sending transactions. As I tried with EOS, WAX, XPR and i can send from the owner account.

If you want to operate and do transactions you have to set up the active key to be ledger. The owner has only privileges to change authority and keys but no normal day to day transactions

I don't have experience with ledger, but some eos apps I have used in the past will only accept active key to sign the transactions. It depends on how the developer sets it up.
