I was doing research on metaverse. How does Holochain fit

in this area? If someone has link to any article I will gladly read it. Are any hApps being built in metaverse?

Which metaverse? Whose metaverse? There are as many metaverses as companies trying to make money off of them. At least that’s what it seems to me. The one I know most about is Facebooks. I see talk about others.

I read Meta invested 10 billion $ in creating their metaverse. I think that tech is still in early stage of development and hope Holochain can be part of it. I think the point is to have as much options in own metaverse and connecting with others to create grid of metaverses. Other important aspect is to have new hardware compatible with this emerging technology. I'm familiar with OurWorld game, I even donated them few bucks about 3 years ago. What is HoloNet about?

IMO, Holochain should have no part with Meta. They’re all about profiting off our data. HC doesn’t seem like a good fit in that aspect.

I was refering to metaverse, not Meta. I agree, #Holochain has different philosophy.
