Like the game or not, it is entirely on-chain; the game logic, storage of game state, etc. is all on the blockchain. This is very niche in web3 gaming due to the limitations it presents (along with user experience challenges), but Moneky is navigating it. Our game is one of the few dapps utilizing WharfKit, which Greymass has created to ease the dev experience on Antelope chains. He gives feedback in dev chats (basically a free QA service with a little monke rage thrown in occasionally. 😁) This is important work and as he solves these challenges of on-chain gaming these lessons learned can be applied to other dapps (even outside of GameFi). Especially as the user experience is streamlined in terms of onboarding and gameplay. This is important especially as we move to a future of chain abstraction. That aside, we have an active community and it's just goofy fun. Something this space desperately needs. 🍌🐒

I don't really think about what level it is on vs other dapps that are (or were) in this space. It is not a matter of one or the other. If there are no devs building there will be no killer dapps. We are part of the momentum and we need more building and solving the issues that will eventually lead us to the "killer dapp". What are you building ser?

The trouble with EOS is not that it’s unknown due to a lack of marketing, but rather it’s in the grip of a powerful group, led by a boss who has bought his way to the top with dirty money. This group of wrongdoers continues to steal from EOS, leaving nothing but a shell of what could have been something great. I believe the root of the problem is Delegated Proof of Stake. It has only encouraged this corruption and the takeover by this powerful group. I speak of Yves and the EOS Network Foundation, if it isn't obvious when I say this. Surely, you understand the sheer absurdity, that we are left to believe that the “Killer DAPP” on EOS is a game, developed by people who think themselves actual monkeys... The tragedy of it all is not lost on me.
