Hmm. I think it was last week or two when EC was running I was lucky to get one fusion a day. I recently started it back up just now so I'll see how that goes.

On Electron V4.3.1, I would sometimes get a runtime error to do with the connection. The app would still appear to be running, but network state was all messed up and couldn't send tx's, etc. Maybe you bumped into that? (There's a new release of Electron that was released a few days ago that might not have that bug anymore... so might be resolved).

you can run the wallet as a whole as a daemon and it should also fuse ( I think)

Is there a way to run CashFusion as a daemon?

I like this idea because it satisfies the “I want to run a node 💪” urge. It feels participatory with a wider community but lets you keep your main wallet closed (just to contribute some shuffliquidity). Even if it’s 0.2bch it helps “secure the [privacy!] network”. I know it’s not very different from keeping EC open with a small wallet but it does feel different. It could become popular.

Just keep in mind that there isn't just one Cash Fusion liquidity. There are 6 or so, of increasing levels. The small amounts one is likely well filled, the 10BCH tier likely least.

The tier aspect goes well with the communal spirit. Six tiers is six levels of community volunteers. Six different color flairs, six different levels of bragging a la “I run my own node!” But it’s easier, like the seti / folding protein screensavers. “I run a level 2 CF on my old phone. I do what I can!✊ I plan to provide level 3 by January. They need help.“ If there were an ongoing drip CT award it could feel like mining for many.
