than EOS? Been a genesis holder and now finally getting this feeling of capitulating and buying tons of dumb shit on Solana
EOS has not performed as well for many reasons. - Difficulty to onboard and use the chains - Negativity of members that got burnt in some way - Lack of social media management and banning of useless and negative members keeping the chat boring and negative. - the fact that eos didn't go up for a long period of time and allowed current holders to have "fuck you money" to spend on alts or to allow investors to retire and focus their time on growing the community - etc. Etc. Though most of those things will be fixed relatively soon I hope so in a way, EOS is very undervalued. EOS needs an increase in price and more positivity and more people getting Involved. The entities working on improving EOS are receive funding from inflation so if we want EOS to succeed faster, we need to work towards fixing these issues fast and ignite collaborations, development and excitement about EOS so that price can rise and the more it rise, the more funding will be available for marketing and development. Then it's like a snowball we trow downhill, the community will just grow and improve. Negative people, plz leave Positive people not speaking up, plz speak up and get involved. Let's fucking go EOS!
You can call me a negative person and all you want, but you are blind. Here's a summary of everything I did for EOS. And even if you check out Brandon's chat with me, you'll see a sad story: ENF couldn't (or wouldn't) fund me with $1k to talk about EOS at a major conference in Latin America.
I was not targeting you btw.
Thank you for all you did 🙏 You should check again with labs see if there is funding interest now 🤷♂️
You still don't realize it... 😅 EOS Labs was asking for EOS public assets to have profit metrics to support them. That's why I was one of those who fought to ensure that they respect the rules of the last season. EOS Labs does not care about community initiatives or public goods. Stay in your bubble
I championed your request internally, and tried to get you that 1k. I saw value in what you were doing. However we didn't have a process in place at the time to satisfy requests for funding from community members wanting to represent EOS at on-site events. I believe I communicated that to you at the time.
@appmandolin, I can vouch for this. Brandon reached even outside the ENF to see if we at UpScale(then EdenOnEOS) could do something for you. We spoke as you remember but unfortunately at the time our treasury disbursement methods, nor where we were at developmentally speaking allowed us to take this on. It's unfortunate that the EOS Community doesn't value this kind of work, in terms of fostering a vibrant international community, or a grassroots decentralized presence at the various blockchain summits. We at UpScale have proposed managing this for EOS...but based on the response we've received, we understand this is not a priority.
I don't think it's fair to say that the EOS community doesn't value this kind of work.
Not enough to fund it?
Of course there was management. I also had a couple of calls with you. But the problem is not that they were going to help me, me. They were really going to help EOS. Everyone here when you talk about EOS immediately laughs and I was willing to change that. Brandon/ENF think that communicating a rejection is a great achievement but it is not. You simply have to see the results. The ENF did not have $1k available. Then you can justify it any way you want.
Processes ser, let them set up a process and give them 6 months before they decide if they give someone $1k to promote EOS, which is probably less they spent on a dinner in Tokyo
Monkey never short on predictable forms of unconstructive slander
