and so now you he lost your trust? I dont get it, but ok
I guess I have to lay it out
It's called accountability. And Roger does not even care about being the top mod there. He just wants r/btc to stay a place for free disccusion. But for that it still needs moderation or it becomes a spam fest and reddit will suspend it for being unmoderator. So then if Roger pulls this on the mods, well it feels very insulting. What if they quit, then the sub is unmodded again. Roger is okay with resigning, we just need to find the right guy to take over from Roger.
That's not really what happened, no. If you actually want to understand, you'll need to do a bit of reading. Start here. Then the chaotic part is where most of us lost their trust. He didn't NEED to do _anything_, but listened to someone we repeatedly warned him about. I have PMs with Roger that specifically state this is an issue that he should not respond directly to. Nothing but a terse acknowledgement. So when he did act to that specific person we told him to not act alone on, he violated our direct trust. The more detailed version is in the link I gave earlier, which I guess you haven't read as it is very clear about the issues a LOT of people are having with him: https://old.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/1blgr0q/cant_you_guys_just_all_agree_to_allow_each_other/
