Hi all, I finally decided to start a monthly meetup

in Darmstadt, Germany (1st meeting 2024-04-11).

Anyone in the region care to join me?

I've got three people so far who have joined the Meetup group for notifications but no attendees yet for the 11th 😁

Thank you so much, Monica. I didn't know of your Twitter you clearly have a wide reach - and I am delighted to say a couple of people have signed up today, one with a +1 so I won't be on my lonesome after all 😁 Tha t makes it sustainable. Even with just three of us, it will be fun and it means it's worth lining up the next one 🎉 Thanks again,g

H Fiendish, just letting you know if it works for you that I've got the next Darmstadt BCH meetup arranged for a week tomorrow. Zero attendees so far so it's a long way to come just for possibly a chat with some random BCHer you don't know but hey 🤷🏻‍♂️ Some signing up closer to the event is still a possibility but I can't promise. Sure, and the week after, you've got Bliss for which I wish you the best (I'm still gutted I'll be driving in the opposite direction to the UK at that time)! It's only my second attempt. All good. As long as I get one or two each time, I'll keep going for a while. What I don't have is time / energy / effort to be putting into promoting it. If the Meetup platform combined with a tweet or two from within the community doesn't work, I'll accept it won't work for now and maybe try again next year. I'm not giving up yet though, I'm thinking maybe the 5th for June.
