Dear developers of Anchor Wallet, the flagship wallet of the

EOS blockchain...
Can you please develop the same convenience (UI, UX) and functionality as Solana's flagship wallet, Phantom Wallet (https://phantom.app), and add the wallet to the Google Chrome browser extension?

The current anchor wallet has a lot of inconveniences and difficulties for users...

Many users are surprised at how easy it is to use Solana's phantom wallet...

Why can't you improve the EOS wallet like that?

I apologize if this is a big request...

I agree there are a lot of issues and so much room for improvements. It’d be great to be able to compete with a wallet like Phantom and offer that same level of quality. We have the vision, but lack the same manpower, funding, and adjacent technologies (though we did just spend the last 2 years or so on SDKs to advance the tech) they have benefited from. The reality is that Phantom has 10x our team size, way more funding, and many other similar teams around them to allow them to focus on their product. It’s not for a lack of wanting to keep up with wallets like theirs, it’s all these other factors that limit our ability to achieve the same things. For the past few months, since Wharfs completion, most of our dev team has been focused on Anchor mobile. The Android version has been in beta for years and we’re trying to bring it in parity with iOS, while also dealing with lingering issues there. We also spent a lot of time creating plans for what else we could do, like web centric or browser extension version, but haven’t had resources to start on them yet. I’m hoping that changes at some point. Until that happens though we’re moving at the pace we can, and starting to focus on other things that could help us generate revenue aside from wallets. Right now we’re shifting our focus away from public goods (like wallets) and into for profit projects (like our game) to help sustain all our existing operations.

@Randomnobody Dear developer... This was an uncomfortable question, but thank you for your answer. It would be great if the EOS Foundation would prioritize this issue and provide support.
