it's a shame his hate for the idea of "community" made him distant and alien to BCH. He had good ideas. People here liked him. The split really caused people to adopt binary attitudes...
whats that
credit card solution for crypto payments
It was a cool gadget but a very hard thing to get widely accepted. Every place that would accept a payment with the card would need a specialized POS.
Imagine not understanding how important community is to BCH or any other monetary network. Even his recent tweets with bca asking questions about cashtokens were extremely negative. Reminds me of Falkvinge’s quote: "If somebody is a great coder or a great cryptographer but spreads bad attitude all around them, they are a net negative contributor. Working together is a social activity." BCH had a few developers that fit this criteria and I’m happy they’re working on other projects.
Yes yes yes yes yes. You can slow down progress in many ways.
wish I could heart that multiple times.
So you are saying all these new coins have less chance of success because they dont have a passionate hardcore community behind them?
Don't forget the important lessons from "Rick": https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/we-fired-our-top-talent-best-decision-we-ever-made-4c0a99728fde
Do you have a link to the CT thread with bca?
Here you go. https://x.com/tobiasruck/status/1772046886905512318?s=46
Thanks! Haven’t read this one yet.😊
Does anyone have the docs for "ALP"?
best to ask Tobias, he seems to be the only person talking about ALP tokens
I think it's an eCash token protocol Interesting to compare it to CashTokens if anyone can find it
Found it! https://ecashbuilders.notion.site/ALP-a862a4130877448387373b9e6a93dd97
> a successor protocol to the great and beautiful Simple Ledger Protocol 😂
What is the point of successively purging teams of bad Ricks if we have to watch the Citadel Clip show every day? If they've been purged, that's it, they're gone. We don't have to deal with their bad idea or toxic trolling.
