I switched from namecheap to njalla years ago. Do I have to go crawling back?

Let's email them to ask for BCH deposit. the main reason I've been told by various suppliers is that the open source point of sale server solutions don't support BitcoinCash. nothing personal

I did email them just after they removed BCH (and a couple of other coins) and they stated that too few were using that payment method for them to bother maintaining it.

I got the same response. They even went as far to say nobody used it, which is odd since it looks like at least a handful of people in here were/are customers. I pointed out that I bought a couple of domains with BCH not too long ago. Also mentioned I’d be moving my domains, they didn’t care.

Strange indeed. Anyways, the best one could do should be to request BCH as a payment option and commit to buying X.

which is why I'm thinking we can all just email them again and have the entirely valid point that their preferred chain is crap for their wanted usecase.

I’m not sure that’s going to change anything, as far as I can tell at least 3 of us have already contacted them about it. How much BCH customers do they need before justifying adding BCH again? They are either maxis or they ran a super custom solution that would need us to commit to buying an extraordinary amount of domains/servers for them to even consider it. They also accept LTC so they probably will just tell you to use that if fees are the problem. I’m not a customer anymore btw, me telling them taking my business elsewhere wasn’t just a threat.

Peter "brokep" Sunde is indeed behind njal.la and was one of the convicted TPB guys. He left TPB before bitcoin was invented though so the "bcash lol" was almost certainly not his words. If njal.la was maxis I doubt they would've accepted BCH in the first place.

You don’t have to, you could go to porkbun, but their fees for accepting crypto are a bit outrageous. I haven’t heard of Gandi, but it might be a better option.

Yep. I got in touch with them shortly after they stopped accepting it. They told me that nobody used it despite that being the only way I've ever paid.
