and software solution company in the automotive sector, how would I do it? They have connectivity tech in millions of cars around the world and are partnered with the top telecoms. What benefit would they gain from becoming a validator, or member? Apart from autogreencharge, what other aspects of energy would interest them. I'd love to get some feedback from you champions @joen86 @dr_jay_j @Sloth_Belgium and @DaniyalAjdadi and @saoyem
As far as my knowledge goes becoming a member entails paying a yearly fee and in return you get support from the team in terms of tech utilization of all the EW ecosystem. Also members get a subscription to smartflow.org (valued between 300 and 500 usd per month). So effectively they could utilize Launchpad and create flows pushed to the SmartFlow worker node network. Then they could also become a validator (validator needs to be member). A validating node can be bought through smartflow.org and it's can be managed by zeeve (total of 1.200 p/m). Or they can set it up themselves, but I'd go with managed route. Then they receive validator rewards. Those rewards fall under the code of conduct, which means they can not sell more than 10% of the gained rewards in 1 month. However, this can be used to pay the membership fee to EWF. If I would be a leading platform and software solution company in the automotive sector, I would definitely be interested in becoming a member and validator. But in the end it should be a tech driven consideration, not a token harvesting consideration.
