Cardiac arrest is the only reason in my mind justifying the 50% chance of no prison.

If I was a betting man, which I am, I’d love to take that bet with a bookie: $21 please sir, betting that, within 21 years from today, “Dr” Craig Semen Wright will be sentenced and successfully imprisoned for at least 21 months, at odds of 21:1 to win $441

Reminds me that you can now get amazing odds on Dallas to win NBA Championship, cos they’ve lost the first 2 games of a 7 game series. I keep adding punts on Dallas to win from here, if Dallas wins the Chip I think I win about $50k Luka and Kyrie can & will do it. Just like Lebron & Kyrie came back from 3-1 down against GSW to win Chip for Cleveland in 2016. That was fuckn epic. Luka is the new Lebron. Wembenyama (not involved in these finals) is from another planet, still stocking up on his base rookie cards

Impressive if you are truly up that much. Most people I know have a few lucky wins but are mostly negative. I made two throw away entertainment bets. Lost both. Decided I’d have more fun playing slots on my next vacation.

Actually the $12k up is just from NBA Add the infrequent horse bets and I’m up $50kish But, gotta factor in the $5k per mth training costs I paid for 5 years. Prizemoney I’m only just at breakeven, I think. He’s won 3 of his last 5 races, not big ones, like $35k prizemoney races which is divided between all horses, winner gets about $20k

Pretty sure this is a BSV room, BSV being entirely funded by a gambling tycoon, although it feels wrong to refer to Calvin as a tycoon now.

I think this is a bad take as it implies BSV related activities were primarily speculative. I suspect that the true motive involves money transferring over country lines via “investments” from various Calvin sister companies.

In 2001, he founded the Moorilla Museum of Antiquities on the Berriedale peninsula in Hobart, which closed in 2007 to undergo $75 million renovations. It was re-opened in January 2011 as the Museum of Old and New Art[6] or MONA. MONA won the 2012 Australian Tourism Award for best new development and is a major Tasmanian tourist attraction. In 2009, Walsh and his syndicate reportedly won $16–17 million over the Melbourne Cup Carnival.[7] In July 2012, Walsh was involved in a dispute with the Australian Tax Office, which demanded he pay $37 million from the profits of his gambling system. In October 2014 Walsh's book A Bone of Fact was published. The publisher described it as Walsh's "utterly unconventional and absorbing memoir".

It’s Adam Back. Open and shut case. Adam Back, on the mailing list, outlined a digital currency that could be created by combining hash cash with b money. Which is exactly what satoshi did a few years later.

G
Nah I don’t reckon

It’s also telling how hashcash and the first version of the bitcoin core client used the same c++ compiler visual c++ 6 and then also used the same linker (and version of gcc). Satoshi stepped away in 2010. Keep in mind hashcash and the bitcoin client were years apart so would be quite the coincidence for both to have identical tooling for building the hashcash app and bitcoin. 2010 is the Same time Adam moved to a tax free country. Why would Adam need to move to a tax free country if he ignores bitcoin from 2008-2013? One of Adam’s first posts on bitcointalk didn’t occur until 2013(?) and it’s in response to asking when they bothered to fix the hashcash bug that allowed the mining to be essentially be fingerprinted to certain users (like Satoshi). Keep in mind Adam from 2008-2013 is pretending like he has completely ignored bitcoin even though he is the one that outlined and explained how to implement bitcoin using hashcash and b money which is exactly what Satoshi did. And then let’s not forget how virtually all the developers joined blockstream and then how his crew censored Reddit and bitcointalk. I think it takes enormous mental gymnastics to deny the obvious at this point.
