Hi! I'm Ibrahim Rabiu (X, LinkedIn, Facebook), a passionate community manager with 8 years of experience fostering vibrant tech communities in Nigeria. I'm particularly enthusiastic about driving Bitcoin Cash (BCH) adoption in my home state of Taraba.

MY CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE BITCOIN CASH COMMUNITY

It's been two incredible years since I joined the Bitcoin Cash community here in Nigeria. During this time, I've gained a deep understanding of Bitcoin Cash, its importance, and the need to drive its adoption. 

1. I've actively participated in organising meetups and even helped coordinate a sponsored event by Bitcoin Cash Nigeria.

2. I volunteered to translate the Floweepay mobile and desktop app into Hausa Language on Crowdin.com, making it accessible to a wider Nigerian audience.

3. I created a video content in Hausa language for floweepay wallet and the launch of the translation in Hausa.

4. Created an Advertisement video for BitcoinCash which was aired on TV station which covered:

What is Bitcoin Cash?
How to use Bitcoin Cash
Security of Bitcoin Cash
Speed, reliability, and low transaction fees of BCH. 

My passion lies in spreading Bitcoin Cash education and awareness. This recently led me to launch "BCH Wazobia," a community name that symbolically unites the three major Nigerian languages: Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo.

Yoruba: "Wa" (Come)
Hausa: "Zo" (Come)
Igbo: "Bia" (Come)

Which means come together, we can make a significant impact. I see the need for BitcoinCash to be diverse .

I'M EXCITED TO CONTRIBUTE MORE TO THE BITCOIN CASH COMMUNITY 

The objective of this campaign is to raise 10 BCH (to kickstart Bitcoin cash Educational Meetups and Contents to Create more Awareness for BitcoinCash. 

DELIVERABLES THROUGH THE MONTH OF JULY - NOVEMBER, I and my team will:

1. Organise 5 meetups across Taraba State, each attracting at least 200 attendees. 
2. Develop 5 catchy TV jingle ads specifically promoting Bitcoin Cash

Transparency isn't just a value we uphold; it's the cornerstone of our project. We prioritise being accountable to our supporters/donors because we recognize its paramount importance. Here's how we will maintain transparency:

We will provide constant updates on our progress to ensure the general  community is informed every step of the way. 
Each milestone and expenditure is documented and shared with the community on X and BCH Telegram group.

This is more than a campaign; it's an investment in Taraba's future.
