you can put it in a wallet like electron cash and see if it complains .. you can use the send tab or the address converter there
These kind of addresses have a checksum build in, which means that a small tool can check if it is valid. To be sure it is a cash-address, the checksum needs to work when you put "bitcoincash:" in front of it. I just pasted it in my wallet and indeed it is a valid bitcoin cash address.
You misunderstood the intention of my question. Assuming an address for at least one of the forks of bitcoin (core, cash, gold, diamond, etc) is valid, it can be one of several types. The obsolete ones that start with '1' and '3' have names too
