instantly compatible with the EWX software? And will it be possible to transfer the snapshot taken in Q1 from our hotwallet to our ledger?

The purpose of a ledger is to never have your seed phrase exposed to any device outside of the Ledger. This is at best questionable advice and I would recommend everyone to not do that.. a hot seed phrase doesn't turn 'cold' after being imported to the ledger. Maybe there is an argument for this but I would be careful in giving the advice without a lot of hedging..

yeah I agree, but it is the only way to bring over a whitelisted wallet to a ledger at this time

I have know of people doing this for tokens with a transfer tax, or a whitelisted wallet, but obviously not on their main ledger. It is more secure than just a wallet extension on a pc or phone app, but not as secure as a brand new ledger. I agree 100%, not advice at all, just an option.
