[dΣathgripson] im not familiar w how that works, I believe there is some kind of coordination to determine the next block producer in PoS, but yea in the circumstances that there is a contest between two validators they cannot enforce that they will have the next block and they cant mine a block that has more work or a longer chain, so I agree its unclear how an individual validator gives these guarentees
