May I suggest as a UX proposal, rather than having

the qr code and address shown big and prominent (looking the same as 99% of payment addresses when to a 3rd party) and the bit about it being your own wallet and needing to record the privkey in a tiny smallprint-like box, to have that info more prominent.

It could even be that there's something covering the address and QR code until the potential pledger has clicked that they understand they are sending to a new wallet that has been created for them and accompanying warning re. recording the privkey?
