eyes? you should've discarded the idea by yourself, you went through all the trouble to put out a paper while being blind to the obvious flaws

Euhm, you are basically changing every thing in that list with your proposal...
"No increased orphan rate" - 10s block time means your other-chain suffers from same orphan rate issues as some independent 10s chain would "No changes to basic consensus" - lol, you have to change core consensus to integrate the 2 chains "No changes to block reward" - how so when now you have 2 block rewards and before you had 1 "No changes to economic incentives" - how so when you have the 2nd chain competing with BCH for transactions, and the token competing for market value "No changes to linearity (and 0-conf) - this is true, and is also the reason it doesn't really solve any problems
> "No increased orphan rate" - 10s block time means your other-chain suffers from same orphan rate issues as some independent 10s chain would No, there is no change to the main chain. Main chain is what we want to preserve. > "No changes to basic consensus" - lol, you have to change core consensus to integrate the 2 chains Sorry for being unclear here. By "no change" I meant all the core values like 10min blocktime, block reward, total issuance, chain profitability remain unchanged > "No changes to economic incentives" - how so when you have the 2nd chain competing with BCH for transactions, and the token competing for market value It's not competing. The reverse: It's supplementary, it's supporting. Increases the value and performance of the basic chain by making things possible that were not possible before. > "No changes to linearity (and 0-conf) - this is true, and is also the reason it doesn't really solve any problems It solves the AMM market problem. Also increases hahsrate, profitability, solo mining, supercharges DEXes, gives us MASSIVE PR boost as the "fastest PoW chain in existence". Did you really have to omit all the basic advantages too or turn them into disadvantages?
