Question: I currently only have the seed phrase written down

for my treasure chest wallet. Do I need the "private spending key" and the "viewing key" as well for security? And if yes, how do I retrieve these keys. I remember the older versions of the treasure chest only had the spending key and viewing key and no seed phrase. I tried to import the spending key, but that does not work. Only respond publicly. Do not privte message me.

Some people like to keep both, others prefer the keys only; but no, if you have the seed phrase recorded safely you don't need to keep the keys also. You'll be able to retrieve them by right clicking on an address (note the keys are for that address only, where the seed phrase covers all addresses possible within that wallet).

you only need to backup the seedphrase and the private key, the viewing key is optional
