I want to send from Binance to mainnet. But i have looked at both Cosmostation wallet and fetchhub explorer and am unable to see a memo anywhere. I think that i may not need to use a memo to send from Binance to mainnet. Only if sending to another third person. Is this right?

Ok if i look above when asked I if i needed a memo to send from Binance to mainnet, you said "send memo" "It is functional for the transaction". Then in the last message you wrote "In your case it is is not necessary to add a memo". So while I appreciate your help i still am somewhat hesitant to send since the information is somewhat contradictory and it is a fair bit of money at stake. Can i get clarity on sending from my Binance to my mainnet account. Is a memo needed and if so where do i find it? Again Gianfranco i appreciate your help it but the two comments left me just as confused.

Because at first I thought you wanted to send the tokens to binance, however if you read the messages from the first to last you should have no doubts about what to do, I wrote clearly

Thanks. i was always stating to send from Binance to mainnet. Thankyou for help. As for your question, nothing is difficult to understand if the answer is given from the right perspective and advice is not given back to front with the assumption that i should work it out in reverse. You yourself stated you thought i wanted to send to Binance so I question and seek further clarity when the answers were contradictory. There is no harm in that. So thankyou for your help it is now very defined. I appreciate you taking time to help.

As I wrote before, the memo is only needed if the recipient requests it, I think that the memo is used by binance to manage the various accounts, in other cases it is not needed, it is just an optional note
