Can't say that I did not expect such an answer, but It continues to baffle me how every last scientific topic becomes politicized in the US and people happily herd along the party lines for one or the other perception instead of once trying to look neutrally at what the data suggests and how that might impact their lives. It's truly frightening how easy it is for political actors and their entourage to control human minds, not only in the setting of restricted communication channels as in the old days, but also in the setting of abundant flow of information since the web.
