What I'm thinking is kadena has found a brilliant way

of securing already mined blocks, the next block however is still as insecure as the hash power on that single chain.
Have I got it wrong?

Yes I understand that, at least on old blocks. But not on blocks which haven't been solved yet. If it's 10 chains, there is 10 different problems which need to be solved so the individual hashing power is 1/10 of total. Which in my view makes it 10 times easier to do malicious stuff.
