and vulnerable esp compared to China. I thought JADC2 and work with Constellation is fixing / modernizing this. Any comments from Diggles or the team on why their former CSO is coming out saying this?
I’m certainly not Diggles nor with the team, but several things I would say as a concerned party who has done my research on the HGTP. 1) There is such a thing as appearing weak when you are strong & strong when you are weak. ~Sun Tzu If I were the team I would not comment on this clip! 2) Who is this guy? Why is he FORMER Airforce & Spaceforce Chief Software Engineer? Sounds like either a Chris Krebs move or some other play. 3) So much we can read into this, but for sure awareness of cyber security importance isn’t something the citizens of America nor the world have been kept informed of. Why? Why now? Maybe this is simply a way of generating support for cyber security and warning ⚠️ of things to come if we don’t. This is much ado about nothing IMO. It’s another talking head.
Excellent call out on Krebs. He's a total shill. As USAF's Former Chief Software Officer, Chaillan also has had his own company Prevent Breach that he can be just trying to promote himself for business.
By the sounds of it, he is more so shouting about bureaucracy and lack of funding and development in AI and machine learning, in favour of developing fancy fighter jets etc. rather than the data security aspects that Constellation is working on...
Yep. First person I thought of when I read this was Krebs
This has nothing to do with Constellation‘s work. He is a senior person who threw a fit and left his position. There is a lot of material out there on him. Some good, some bad. Some people liked him because he pushed DevSecOps. Others didn’t because they claim he sabotaged other DoD SW projects because he felt threatened by their success.
