I suppose the simple way to view it would be a bridge but it's different. Isn't dot limited to it's own ecosystem?
So how is it different? From what i understand dot is just what a l1 on substrate would plug into to become interoperable with other ones also pluged in
So it just locks it in a smart contract then? Or how would it work🤔 seams kinda next level if it can just turn btc into eth, i didnt think that was even a thing because l1s all have different levels of security
Far beyond smart contracts
Smart contracts cannot scale. What has been built by Constellation is not a one trick pony of smart contracts which aren't that smart.
They how does it work if not with smartcontracs? Like how would it turn btc into eth?
Global Liquidity Pool is part of the equation. HGTP has the rails that run transactions in parallel and not a single file line like traditional blockchain (bottlenecking)
Ok so a liquidity pool, and ya its a dag right but how does that turn eth to btc? Still the different levels of network security? So it would just have like a liquidity pool of peoples btc and eth then swap it, id assume in a decentralized way?
I worked all day, my brain is mush & I have reached my capacity. SethV and @Cliche76 and many others do a much better job explaining. As will the videos.
Thanks! And i warched one of them tbh its too high level im i jusy want to understand how it does the basics and what makes it an l0 compared to dot the other l0 or so it claims lol
