that works out as roughly $35.49 usd at the current SAND price. If this is a feature of how things will work when the game launches then it is an considerably large barrier to entry for most users. Has anyone thought about this?
why the fee so high?
part of it is Binance, they charge a small fee for withdraw, but that is only a small part of it (maybe 3-4 dollars max) the rest of that fee to send SAND tokens to the game (when it launches) is due to the fact the devs have built 'The Sandbox' ontop of the Ethereum ecosystem, the fee's to send ERC-20 tokens like SAND and all other tokens is very expensive due to network congestion, the blocks are full of transactions
thank you. so the sand will be on erc-20. will it be on polygon?
if the devs can find a way to use another blockchain, like BSC Polygon MATIC or similar they could drastically reduce these fees
