Craig is Satoshi, and the case will determine if Craig did it by himself, or in partnership with Dave. If latter, then Dave will get half of what Craig currently owns
we all know and no, dave gets nothing. Maybe Ira
The cope is strong
No. First court establishes facts (that's how courts work). Then based on those established facts, courts determine the damage done to a plaintiff's side. And then (if any damage caused by the defendant) the court determines compensation. Court has to determine if Craig and Dave were partners. If yes, what kind of partnership it was, and what share each side had in that partnership.. Overall, you have a very poor understanding of how courts work, but it's okay.. In any case it will be resolved, hopefully soon
Dima, how do they reward the coins? Isn't it necessary to first establish who has them / owns them ? I.e. wasn't it required for CSW at some point (maybe redacted) to show proof that he is Satoshi ?
Good question. If craig wright can prove he mined/owns them, then court can order miners to transfer those coins into a new UTXO. If he can't prove he mined(and never owned them), and ira can't prove it either, then noone gets them.
This case is rewarding in USD value. CSW’s only attempt at trying to show which coins were his failed
ya, even if he would give proof he is Satoshi, that doesn't mean he mined the coins. So evidence for owning the coins is required but by that he also would reveal being Satoshi (or at least very likely unless Satoshi had no coins)
Of course, you're correct here. So one of the facts that will be established is if Craig Wright is Satoshi. Court has to determine that to be able to make a decision if Dave was a partner in that. And then to determine if they mined together or had some other common assets. But without determining that Craig is Satoshi, the case would just end.
