Yes, Cake charges 15% on your rewards, since they provide differentiated services (staking for example for additional rewards on your LM, which defichain does not) as well as user friendly interfaces and also support, preciselly when someting like what happened to you with the passphrase, so you do not lose access to your funds. Also, the funds are insured in Cake against hacking. All that comes with a price, the 15% fee on the rewards you receive, that Cake charges. With the wallet, you dont have that 15% fee on what you receive, your full rewards are liquid, 100% to you. Also, the system cannot be shutdown by governenment laws, altough these can limit your possibility to withdraw funds by going after the exchanges. The limitation, as with any decentralized service, you have limited services (no staking for example) and there is absolutely no support, you are the sole responsible for your funds. Think of it as you being your own bank. The choice between one and the other? It depends on your objectives and risk you can bear. I use both for example. I use defichain for the money I can afford to lose but with higher risk and therefore higher rewards, as Cake I use for differetianted services and money I dont want to afford to lose

You have to exit your current wallet and after that, you will be able to create a new one. But I would not do that yet. You have a good amount in your wallet. Dont take a rush decision. Wait a couple days, sleep, drink and take a good night rest, who knows if you can remember after. Right now with the heat of the moment, you may indeed have dificult to remember. Just friendly advice 🙂

Just create a new wallet, you can do that in the menu of the defichain app. But didn't you had funds on your current wallet?
