Why dd u delete your comment ?

Is he a scammer??

We will never know, as I banned him from the channel. But considering he just joined and the first thing he does is to ask you to privatelly message him, I would say so. The rules are clear in the pinned messages, admins and mods will never contact users by DM or call, and will never request users to adress them in private. We always write only inside this channel, in front of the community. Ignore and block all DM's you may receive, even if looking like an admin or mod. Only inside this channel you will find the real ones. Beware of scammers and impersonators!

Who knows, but likely once I placed the warning, he might have deleted it to prevent being detected. Too late, we are always watching 👀

Indeed, a scammer definitelly. Do not click in any links provided in DM's, they just want you to connect your wallet to some fishy website and steal your funds. Never click in anyrhing provided under such circumstances! Also, you may want to consider changing your settings on telegram for contacts only, in order to prevent scammers from calling you!

No. You said you staked some coins and wanted to withdraw it back to metamask. I asked what did you stake and where did you stake it? Your question is very generic. For context, there’s no direct ‘staking’ in DefiChain, in this group, and definitely not in metamask. So please elaborate.

Sorry. So I’m not sure what you’re doing. There have been a few posts like yours asking about doing something called ‘burnout’. I don’t know that that is. Because there is no such thing. Can you show a screenshot of this staking or burnout process that you are talking about?

Never heard of it, very likely a scam.

Thanks for the report. But that actually looks like a scam site. There’s no ‘burnout’ on DefiChain and you also cannot directly stake on a wallet unless you run your own masternode. You can only stake on proven providers like Bake and Kucoin. If you deposited funds to it, they’re probably unretrievable. If you’ve connected your wallet to it, I would recommend you to immediately revoke any access and double check the security of your wallets. Please be extra vigilant when dealing with crypto “dapps” and vague promises to connect wallets. Even if they are recommended by friends.
