Hi there, i still try to recover my btc on

my desktop wallet 🙏🤞transactions done on 04/08/2023 and 05/08/2023 arrived well on my desktop wallet same day (total 5 transfers on two different addresses, both visible when checking on receive btc on my desktop wallet) however when selecting both btc addresses it opens the defichain - defiscan live and shows: “the requested address xxxxx could not be found” 🤔
Then checking on the blockchain the correct addresses are all there incl. the exact btc transfers.
What is the reason that my btc balance is not showing up on my desktop wallet?
Do i need to to a full reindexing of the wallet?
I have posted on github but no feedback yet, can anyone please assist further?

In previous messages, we’ve asked you to check the txid and check your wallet address. But you keep saying ‘btc address’. There’s no ‘btc address’. If you have a defichain wallet, you have a Defichain address, that same, singular defichain address will house all the coins sent to be it because all coins on the Defichain wallet are Defichain-wrapped tokens. BTC would be dBTC. We’ve asked you to look at the txids and see where your coins have gotten, but you keep saying they are received, but somehow disappeared, but you cannot find the address or even the transactions. Which is impossible. In a blockchain, everything is recorded, and is actually publicly accessible. Anyone can use defiscan, to search any DefiChain address or DefiChain txid. For example, I have randomly clicked on an address on Defiscan. I do not know who this belongs to, but you can clearly look at this address and see all the transactions that have happened on it. You can also see that his address now has 1.86109 dBTC and 76.9819 dUSDT. It also has an active vault, etc. etc. In the same way, you just need to put In Your own DeFichain wallet address https://defiscan.live/address/df1qrhcnyqtxp9p44yq6fe7zhvq7qs47l47y885cdy

That was a beta function that is not in use and has not been in use since the atomic swap exploit and the function disabled.

Zachary, again my apologies that i am not at a technical level then you guys are, i invest for my grandchildren meaning i am an old man trying to do his best. I truly appreciate your efforts trying to help me out here, i really do. In previous message Bernd told that native BTC is still very experimental, and that might be the reason that the transfers are not seen on the defiscan.live however they are on the blockchain. In my desktop wallet i see the two addresses were the transfers have been done under the BTC (Beta) when i click receive I can give you both these addresses if that is safe enough to pass it here in the group?

As mentioned, this was a beta experimental feature and has not been in use for nearly 2 years. The wiki above is the only way I know of to try and get btc out of the btc(beta) address. Good luck.

The DFi Desktop Wallet is not owned by any company. There always has to be someone to program it.

indeed, an i understand this, the question however remains Sebastian, a programmer could have taking this up back then. In addition, i first did a small btc transfer of less then 100$ which arrived well on the btc beta address, I did this twice for each of my daughters and afterwards, when the small amounts had well arrived i did the remaining btc transfer’s thinking all went well….the btc remained on the desktop wallet from 5 aug till the 15th when a DFI transfer failed and i restarted and reloaded a snapshot Hopefully i can recover the BTC 🙏🤞
