I’m trying to swap DFI for dUSD in the defichain

light wallet. Current DFI price is $4.35 USD yet I’m only being offered $3.32 per DFI to swap to dUSD. Am I missing something?

My opinion too. But one downside is you limit your capital to whatever collaterization ratio you decide. If you do the swap DFI to DUSD now, you pay the premium and make an upfront loss, but you can deploy your full capital. So you need to decide which method is better for you

Depends on what worries or believe price in dfi... my mode is very safe already; in profit more than staking... and anytime I return to close the vault; in profit still... I can even return 25% to reduce the risk to maintain higher % Health vault; in profit still and more than staking... no issue

Haha. I see. Personally I prefer taking a loan, mint the respective dtokens and lm it too. Cause I don’t want to sell my DFI. And I can adjust the collat ratio as and when price increase or dip, mint or or mint less etc. Not anywhere at this stage to sell DFI :) still early In the roadto50

Exactly... that's the safest thing to do by now... don't waste the APR% which is still high now... By right when the time dUSD get to $1.00; many couldn't buy dfi at this price... or all fixed and perfections in the system; the APR% will drop much more due to many participants onto LM So it's always good to grind now before everything slowly into perfect....

Yeah that would work cos it won't affect your main loan amount... just take the minted dUSD swap to Dfi... that's another good method :)

My personal opinion is go for loan; use your dfi to take dUSD loan but make sure do it in Healthy... don't swap Dfi to dUSD Of course many people have their own method... is up to you to decide :)
