I am new to convex and cruve
I want to ask a dumb question
As cruve is difficult for me to use but I still want to invest on it.
Is it have a good return if I just bought some CRV token and stake in the convex ?
Or I must become a LP provider before stake in convex?

And what’s the difference between staking and locking? Staking u earn LP tokens and locking you can either vote for gauge weight proposal or delegate to votium to earn bribes money?

Well if you lock on Curve there is no liquidity pool to exit, you're locked for the amount of time you chose
